As a new course, it looks like it is been on the West Irish coastline for a long time. It is described by most golfers as a masterpiece. The architect is Greg Norman, the famous Australian player. It weaves through exceptional site of gigantic dunes. One of the major challenge is to gauge with approach shots to greens, some of which nestle spectacularly in sandy amphitheatres, while others are much more exposed. The most memorable hole is number 14, a short par 3 facing the Atlantic Ocean. |
